Voice Acting Course ;12:44 PM
Hello everyone!
Have you heard of the term 'seiyuu' before? To those who may not know, a seiyuu is a voice actor. That's right, they are those people who give voices (life) to your anime characters! (e.g. Paku Romi voices Hitsugaya Toshirou from Bleach). If anyone ever thought of wanting to become a seiyuu, or learn some voice-acting skills, the opportunity arrived for you here in Singapore!
A company called Star 77 provides lessons to train future voice talents. They were founded in October 2007, located in Shenton Way. They are tied up with companies that produces animes with top seiyuus!
Below are some details about the course:
- Fees: $1000 per level (there are 3 levels in total)
- Lessons are free-and-easy (more information about the Course timetable can be found at English site below)
- 1 level takes approximately 3 months. In order to advance to level 2, students have to pass an audition. Textbooks will be provided, and lessons will be conducted in English. However, they do have lessons in Japanese as well at advance levels.
For more information about the company and the course, here's the company website in English & Japanese
There are more information at the English link.
